MMG is experienced in performing remote route surveys for Owners, freight forwarders and construction contractors throughout Australia.

Based on each client’s project needs, MMG will perform desktop or physical route surveys based on regional ports of entry and exit options, distance and route infrastructure restrictions to identify a road transport envelope to the required site.   Route survey sections can include:

  • Fabrication Yards to Site
  • Port to Lay Down Area
  • Lay Downs Area to Site

In performing route surveys, MMG uses our experienced personnel to travel the routes and compile a report including records of distances, locations of points of interest, route access requirements, limiting infrastructure dimensional data, and supported by photos and recorded video files.

After submittal of route survey reports, MMG works with project engineering and construction management to integrate the Transport Route Survey detail with other project criteria and identify maximum modular or transport dimensions to suit each project’s individual criteria

MMG is experienced in preparing Project Logistics Plans for globally located projects. We work with clients from an early phase of project to identify the overall logistics task, points of origin and destination, and schedule criteria.
